With 25 years in philanthropy, community relations, management and leadership, James has experience with non-profits, higher education, independent schools, and healthcare, at varying levels to help them fulfill their missions.
James understands the power that philanthropy has in our communities. Synergy is created by developing dynamic and engaged teams, partnering with philanthropists, creating fundraising programs and plans, and launching campaigns that enhance impact.
In addition to his consulting services, James has also participated and presented at regional and national conferences and associations including: Charitable Gift Planners of Northeastern NY, Northeast Annual Giving Conference, American Association of Law Schools, Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and several others.
He is President of the Board of The Legal Project, a board member for his alma mater Russell Sage College, President of Charitable Gift Planners of Northeastern NY, and a volunteer for several regional non-profits. He has formally worked with the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), American Diabetes Association (ADA), and the Pride Center of the Capital Region.
